The Oncology Acute Care Clinic is available to help you manage your illness in between doctor visits and treat any symptoms that may be related to your cancer or treatment.

Clinic Days: Monday - Friday
Clinic Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (the last patient will be scheduled at 2:30 p.m.)

How do you get an appointment?

You will call the clinic first and speak with a nurse to talk about your symptoms. The nurse will help make sure you get the right care you need. If you can be seen in the Oncology Acute Care Clinic an appointment will be made. Some patients may be directed to the emergency room. Please call to find out which care setting is right for you if you are unsure.

Symptoms that can be seen in the Oncology Acute Care Clinic:

Fever, fatigue, weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, dizziness, bleeding, lightheadedness, skin rash, abnormal wound drainage or signs of infection, mouth sores, burning with urination, unable to urinate, sore throat, cold symptoms, cough, headache, pain, feeding tube complications, and sickle cell crisis.
